Blue Lagoon Iceland
Reykjanes Peninsula
Soak in milky-blue geothermal water among black lava fields, close to Keflavík airport.
Discover : Blue Lagoon Iceland
Iceland is a young, restless island of volcanoes, glaciers, geysers and waterfalls, where the landscape changes every few kilometres. The Golden Circle, an easy day from Reykjavík, links the rift valley of Thingvellir, the erupting Strokkur geyser and the thundering Gullfoss. Along the south coast, waterfalls spill off old sea cliffs and black-sand beaches lead towards the icebergs of Jökulsárlón.
Summer brings long, bright days and green landscapes; winter brings snow, ice caves and the Northern Lights. A typical trip of five to seven days pairs a few nights in Reykjavík with a south-coast journey, and the Blue Lagoon, close to the international airport, makes a relaxing first or last stop.
Iceland suits couples, honeymooners, photographers and families with older children. Winter roads can be icy, so we use experienced private drivers or small-group tours. Reykjavík has Indian restaurants; in the countryside choices are fewer, and we arrange vegetarian meals with hotels in advance.

From September to March, on clear, dark nights away from city lights. They are never guaranteed, so we suggest four or more nights and a stay in the countryside for at least part of the trip.
Less cold than its name suggests, but windy and changeable. Summer days are usually around 10–15°C and winter hovers around freezing in the south. Waterproof layers and good shoes matter more than heavy coats.
Options are more limited in rural areas, but hotels and many cafés offer soups, salads, pasta and vegetarian dishes on request. We let each hotel know your requirements before you arrive.
