Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World, just outside Orlando in Florida, is the largest Disney resort in the world. It has four theme parks, the Magic Kingdom with Cinderella Castle at its heart, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom, as well as two water parks and dozens of hotels.

Most families spend three to four days here, one per park, ending with the fireworks over the castle. Lightning Lane passes, booked through the Disney app, cut waiting times at the most popular rides, and every park has clearly marked vegetarian options.

Florida summers are hot and humid, with short afternoon thunderstorms, so spring and late autumn are more comfortable. For extra days, Universal Orlando and the Kennedy Space Center are both within easy reach.
