Sentosa, Singapore
Film-themed zones of rides and shows on Sentosa Island, from Transformers and the Battlestar Galactica coasters to Minion Land for younger children.
Universal Studios Singapore, inside Resorts World Sentosa, is the island’s most popular day out for families. The park is laid out in themed zones built around films, including Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World and Far Far Away, along with Minion Land for younger visitors.
Thrill-seekers head for Transformers The Ride and the duelling Battlestar Galactica roller coasters, while gentler rides, live shows and character meet-and-greets keep smaller children busy. Height limits apply on the bigger rides, so tell us your children’s ages and we will suggest a realistic plan.
Arrive at opening time and do the most popular rides first; queues build by late morning, especially at weekends and during Indian school holidays. Express passes are worth considering on busy days, and vegetarian meals are available inside the park.
