About Niagara Falls from the Canadian Side

The Canadian side of the Niagara River looks straight at the American and Bridal Veil Falls and runs right up to the brink of the Horseshoe Falls at Table Rock, which is why most visitors consider its views the finest. The riverside promenade through Queen Victoria Park is flat and easy to walk.

Niagara City Cruises takes you by boat into the mist at the foot of the Horseshoe Falls, and Journey Behind the Falls leads through tunnels to platforms beside the falling water. In the evening the falls are lit in changing colours, with fireworks on many summer nights.

The falls are about 90 minutes by road from Toronto. Add Niagara-on-the-Lake, a pretty town of historic streets and orchards, or the arcades and rides of Clifton Hill for children.
