About Isla Mujeres Catamaran Trip

Isla Mujeres lies a short boat ride off Cancún, a narrow island with a relaxed village, colourful houses and some of the calmest beaches in the region. Catamaran trips from the Hotel Zone usually include snorkelling on a reef along the way, lunch on board or ashore and a few hours to explore the island.

Playa Norte, on the northern tip, has shallow, gentle water that is ideal for children. Many visitors hire a golf cart to drive to Punta Sur, where cliffs and a sculpture garden look out over the open Caribbean.

For a quicker crossing, public ferries run frequently from Puerto Juárez. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, a hat and a dry bag for your phone, and ask us for a vegetarian lunch when we book the catamaran.
