About Boracay White Beach

White Beach runs for around four kilometres along the west coast of Boracay, a small island off the northern tip of Panay. Its sand is fine and pale, the water shallow and calm for much of the year, and a beachfront path lined with hotels, restaurants and cafés runs its full length.

The beach is divided into three stretches: quieter Station 1 in the north, lively Station 2 in the middle with its shopping area, and relaxed Station 3 in the south. In the late afternoon, traditional paraw sailboats take visitors out to watch the sunset, one of the island’s best experiences.

Boracay is reached by flying to Caticlan or Kalibo, followed by a short boat crossing. The island closed for six months in 2018 for an environmental clean-up, and beach rules are now strictly enforced. Add a day of island hopping, or a trip to quieter Puka Beach in the north.
