About Mauritius Catamaran Day Cruise

A catamaran day is the most popular excursion in Mauritius. From the east coast, cruises cross the lagoon to Île aux Cerfs, a small island fringed by white beaches, often with a speedboat detour to the Grand River South East waterfall. From Grand Baie in the north, they sail out to Gabriel Island and the cliffs of Coin de Mire.

Along the way the crew stop for snorkelling over the reef, serve a barbecue lunch with vegetarian dishes, and leave plenty of time to swim and relax on the sand. Most trips include hotel transfers.

The east coast is at its best in the summer months and the sheltered north in the breezier winter. Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and a hat, as the deck can be bright and breezy.
